Product introduction

Ozx Lotion is an antimicrobial medicine. It is used for topical treatment of superficial skin infections and acne. It inhibits the infection-causing bacteria and prevents their growth and further spread of the infection.

Use Ozx Lotion in the dose and duration as prescribed by the doctor. Read the package insert thoroughly before using the medicine. Apply an appropriate amount of the medicine to the affected area once daily or as directed by your doctor. For facial acne, apply the medicine to the affected area after washing the face. Make sure to wash your hands before and after applying the medicine. Continue applying the medicine for as long as the doctor has prescribed.

Ozx Lotion is generally safe with little or no side effects. However, it may cause itching, dry skin, and irritation immediately after application. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor.

Do not use Ozx Lotion if you have a known history of allergic reaction to any of the components present in this medicine. Ozx Lotion is an antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria causing acne on your skin. It usually takes around 4 weeks to start working and several months to have full effect, so keep taking it as prescribed. Sometimes acne may get worse before it gets better, however, with proper use, your skin will get clearer. It offers a long-lasting post antibiotic effect against susceptible and resistant acne. In Treatment of Impetigo

Ozx Lotion is an antibiotic medicine used to treat a skin infection called impetigo (red sores) in adults and children 2 months of age and older. Apply 2-3 times a day to get relief from itching, swelling, and redness caused by the infection. You might see a change in your skin appearance in a week if used as prescribed by your doctor. Results might vary from person to person depending on your skin condition. Make sure you complete the full course of treatment to ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning.

Apply Ozx Lotion only to the skin. Do not use it to the eyes. lf the medicine accidentally gets into the eyes, immediately rinse it off with clean water.
This medicine is for external use only. Do not swallow the lotion or use it in the eyes, on the mouth or lips, inside the nose, or inside the female genital area.
Use the medicine for the entire time recommended by the doctor, even if your symptoms improved.
For treatment of superficial skin infection, notify the doctor if there is no improvement in symptoms within a week after starting use of Ozx Lotion.
As treatment for acne, notify the doctor if there is no improvement in symptoms within 4 weeks after starting use of Ozx Lotion.
You have been prescribed Ozx Lotion to treat a certain skin infection (impetigo).
Wash your hands frequently – particularly after touching infected skin.
After applying the cream, you may cover the treated area with a clean bandage or gauze if advised by your doctor.
Do not touch or scratch the sores because this can spread the infection to other parts of the body, and other people.
Avoid the use of perfumes and fragrant soap.
Wearing light clothing and keeping cool in bed, may help. Avoid excessive sweating.
Do not share your towel or clothes with anyone and wear clean clothes every day.
Avoid contacting newborn babies, preparing food, playing contact sports, or going to the gym – until the risk of infection has passed.
